Reporting arrangement and role:
To report to Deputy Director General-ACE on day-to-day functioning. It involves
coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including the knowledge partner,
to ensure the timely receipt and provision of inputs for proper consideration and
incorporation into ACE studies and papers. The role requires in-person presence at the
ACE office.
Qualification and Experience:
- Engineer (B. Tech/BE) with approximately 1-2 years of experience in the City Gas
Distribution (CGD) sector or Natural Gas pipeline projects or natural gas marketing or
PNGRB and having excellent communication and presentation skills - Prior experience in the City Gas Distribution (CGD)/PNGRB with an MBA in
Marketing/Finance (in addition to B. Tech/BE) will be preferred. - Should have expertise in Excel, Power Point and use of AI
Job Position and Nature:
- Designation: Consultant – Engineering (Level-1)
- Employment Type: Temporary, with an initial tenure of up to one year. Extension may
be granted on the same terms based on organizational requirements, candidate’s
willingness, and performance.
Compensation: All-inclusive as indicated below
- Monthly remuneration: ₹ 75,000/- (Rupees Seventy-Five Thousand only)
- For candidates with experience, the monthly remuneration shall be negotiable based
on additional experience and previous credentials. - Note: No additional payments or benefits (beyond mentioned above or negotiated
amount) shall be provided under this assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination & Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor and analyse regulations, guidelines, and notifications issued by PNGRB and other relevant authorities.
- Co-ordination with Members, Knowledge Partners, Service Provider for Webservices, other stake-holders, etc. and support the resolution of key issues relevant to the association and its members.
- Assist in preparing responses to regulatory queries for facilitating compliance.
- Prepare and coordinate for company meetings and external/internal stakeholder engagements.
- Daily review of relevant sites of interest to ACE, for development of key references for technological advancements & exploring opportunities.
2. Policy & Market Research:
- Conduct research on domestic and international trends in the natural gas sector, including CGD, LNG, and CGD related equipment, process, etc.
- Prepare reports and presentations on industry best practices, policy updates and market developments.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with government agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholder on regulatory and policy matters.
- Assist in organizing meetings, conferences, and workshops related to the natural gas sector.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to gas distribution, demand-supply scenarios, pricing trends, PNG, CNG, Industrial & Commercial customers and regulatory developments.
- Prepare detailed reports, white papers, and policy briefs for internal and external stakeholders in consultation with the Knowledge Partner.
5. Proposal & Documentation Support:
- Preparing proposals/letters, policy recommendations, and technical documents for onward submission and industry consultations.
- Support documentation for bids, licenses, and other approvals.
6. Communication & Presentation:
- Develop high-quality presentations, reports, and briefing notes for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Deliver presentations on key industry topics, regulatory updates, and project developments as required.
7. Other Duties as Assigned:
- Provide additional support on strategic initiatives, special projects, and any other tasks assigned by the Deputy Director General.
